Yule wool is just the answer for Casey

15th December 2016

The office festive night out is incomplete without a photo of someone wearing a cheesy Christmas jumper.

The only problem is that that yule-themed knitwear is similar to another staple at Christmas – turkey, because we’re happy to say we love it while secretly not really enjoying it.

So how do you get someone to embrace some fabric fun without triggering a resistance that would have done the French proud in the 1940s?

Answer: get the agreement of all your staff that the donning of a dubious winter woolly top will be the forfeit for whoever comes last in the end-of-year quiz.

And so it fell to Casey Boyne to sleigh ’em on Friday, December 9, 2016, with a reindeer-design hoodie that was clearly an off-the-elf purchase.

His protests that the pullover threatened to make a mess of his perfectly-coiffed barnet meant that it was definitely not a Silent Night for his colleagues.

In addition to Casey, those in attendance on the evening were Scott Smyth, Michelle Smyth, Andrew Gallacher, Neil Rattray, Angus Dykes, Brian Kemp, David Boyes, David Lymburn, Frank Iannelli, Ian Tucker, Jonathan Murchie, Lorraine McCann, Sandy Milroy and Raymond Paton,

All were appraised by Managing Director Scott Smyth of the progress being made by the company and its ambitions for the year ahead, as well as further into the future.

Aside from the quiz, everyone enjoyed some drinks and a meal together at Mother India on Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow.
